As a Developer, the most important element in the project feasibility study is to establish a realistic build cost that will deliver the following:
a. Provide a Construction budget that will complete the project to the Developers desired level of finish.
b. Provide a Contingency to protect the Developer against unforeseeable issues.
c. Advise the Developer on the project’s logistical issues.
d. Advise the Developer on the project’s timescale to complete.
Having knowledge of these elements are fundamental for a Developer. They contain the information that results in a very profitable project, or, a project that will result in a very serious underestimation of cost.
